Our OZ trip :Travelling with Food

Food is a main attraction to our group...so that's the thing that make us all click...we were on a very tight budget so we budgeted AUD600+RM600 for the whole 10 traveling days we were at OZ.

we were armed with:

1 pack (6 packet) of Maggie Kari
1 pack (6 packet) of Maggie Tom Yam
1 pack (5 packet) of Maggie laksa
1 pack - indomie goreng
3 kg of rice(1pkt thai rice,jap rice & brown rice)
1 packet of kuah sambal
1 packet of kuah curry
500g of ikan bilis
1 container of cookies & tarts (given by dy)
3 perencah nasi goreng

we bought this before we flew and then packed it in one bagpack..as mention in many blog so that when we get there the customs will only open the bag with food.please do read the immigration rules before you go for do n don'ts about bringing food...when we arrived the first think we were ask about the food was..is ikan bilis in there???? (memang ketara org malaysia !) *it's advisable if you are on a low budget travel to bring food stuff to cook.

we all had pre book meals on board..and we had our meal at 4am..(the meals are served 2 times..first around 11pm then at 4am)

we arrived at 7.30am at GoldCoast Airport...and we had to wait for our flight to Melbourne at 12.15pm.so we waited at the airport.luckily the cookies were not confiscated so we had cookies to munch on...i bought half a dozen of original Krispy Kreame Original glazed.( i think it cost AUD8) and we had some chili and sour cream potato chips  too..and wash it down with a weird bluberry energy drink..

first meal was maggie kari at 4pm..then we were off to Safeway Supermarket to buy our groceries...
we had Beef Steak + mash potatoes+and bok choi..with rice...(i think we spent about AUD30 for this meal)

Lunch

Egg sandwich+ half a dozen of very fresh oyster (AUD9)+ a bowl of tomyam noodles(AUD5) incase you migh be wondering why so much...cos i shared with dawn and then egg sanwich is the bekalan...at Victoria market food court.

Dinner

Pork Sausage + lettuce + fruits salad...
we bought the fruits and lettuce at the Victoria market
